Alcohol is distilled fermented drink that depress and decrease electrical activity of the neurons in the brain.

And causes extensive pathology including hepatic cirrohosis ,encephalopathy and prepheral neuropathy but also pancreatitis, cardiomyopathy,erectile dysfunction and injury through accidents due to loss of balance.

 

Alcohol effects almost all body organs in the body when you drink heavally excessive or long-term consumption can lead to serious health problems include;:

              1:effect on the brain

Memory loss and congnitive decline- alcohol can shrink brain tissue leading to memory problems and difficulty thinking.

Impaired coodination and judgment-affects motor skills, and  increasing the risk of accidents.Increased risk of mental disorders and addiction.

                   


                      2:effect on liver

Excessive consumption of alcohol can cause fatty liver disease -excess fat building up in liver cells.

Hepatitis&cirrhosis --long term alcohol use can cause liver inflammation and permanant scarring to the liver failure leading to the alcoholic hepatitis, symptoms may include

Jaundice,nausea and abdominal pain .it can be also severe and life threating especially if drinking continues. It Cause also  cause liver cancer and really this is the most difficult due to the growing of abnormal cells result in impairment of the liver function.

                       3:effect on heart

Alcohol consumption can lead high blood pressure  this increases risk of heart disease and stroke. Also it can cause cardiomyopathy weakness of the heart muscle and ruduce ability to pumb blood.
                           4:effect on pancrease

Acute pancreatitis is sudden inflammtion of the pancrease which can triggered by heavy alcohol consumption and this condition can be live life threatening and often rewuires hospitazation.
Chronic pancreatitis:long-term heavy drinking is the major cause of chronic pancreatitis it leads to the permenant damage,and impairing pancrease'ability to produce digestive enzymes and insulin,which can rssult in malnutrition and diabetes.
Pancreatic cancer:chronic alcohol abuse increases the risk of developing pancreatic cancer especially in individuals with history of chronic pancreatitis.
 Disrupted insulin production:alcohol interfere with the pancrease ability to regulate blood suger levels by affecting insulin production.this worsen blood suger control.particulary individuals with diabetes.

                   5:effect on reproductive health

In men: can causr eractile dysfunction and lower testosterone levels
In women:can disrupt menstrual cycles and increase the risk of infertility.
In pregnancy women:fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS)-alcohol use during pregnancy can cause birth defects and development issues in babies.


Concultion: to protect both liver ,pancrease and all important organs its crucial to limit or eliminate alcohol intake .
